Some people prefer to pick up their bike at our Hendersonville, TN factory. Others want us to ship the bike to them. For those who wish to pick up their bike at our TN factory, there is a 9.25% sales tax fee imposed by the State of TN (even if you don't reside in the State of TN). For those who want us to ship the bikes outside of the State of TN, there is no sales tax charged but a shipping and crating fee is imposed (see below).
When we ship, we actually build a wooden pallet around the base of your bike, strap it down tightly and then encase it with heavy-duty compressed cardboard. The end result is a strong crate that is then picked up by the trucking company we use to ship the bikes and delivered to your door. The shipping and crating fees will be determined at the point of sale and documented on your estimate and/or Sales Receipt.
Refund Policy
Since each Rhoades Car 4-wheel bike is custom built to exact customer specifications, they are not returnable for a refund. In the rare exception that a return is approved in writing by Rhoades Car International, a 20% restocking fee will be charged and the customer is responsible for the shipping charges - both outgoing and incoming.
